Is the wait coming to an end soon? Five years after her last album, Rihanna is apparently back with new music.
For five years the fans have been waiting longingly for new music from Rihanna (33), now it should finally be time. As an insider of the British “The Sun” reports exclusively, the musician is planning to shoot a music video in Los Angeles in July. “Rihanna has been secretly working on new music for a long time and now her ninth album is finally finished,” the source said. The Briton Raja Virdi, who has already worked with Sam Smith (28), among others, should take over the direction of the music video.
Rihanna is supposed to keep her new music top secret
Rihanna is said to have met the director last year at a fashion party at Westminster University. “She wanted him to be the brain behind the music video,” the insider continues. However, the details of their new music have so far been kept top secret.
Rihanna released her last album “Anti” in January 2016. After that, the 33-year-old largely withdrew from the music business and focused on her lingerie label “Savage X Fenty” and her cosmetics line “Fenty Beauty”.
