Rimac, the electric hypercar specialist, opens a showroom in the heart of Brussels

The timing was perfect. The day before the Brussels motor show, which is the 100th edition, Rimac, the Croatian manufacturer of sports hypercars and majority shareholder of Bugatti, inaugurated a new showroom in the heart of the Belgian capital. This is the 24th Rimac dealership in the world, and the 5th in Europe (Germany, United Kingdom and Spain).

For the occasion, Rimac has teamed up with D’Ieteren, a Belgian family investment company, exclusive distributor of the brands of the Volkswagen group – including Bentley, Lamborghini and Bugatti. For the record, D’Ieteren is also the owner of the famous Moleskine notebooks.

Designed jointly by D’Ieteren and Rimac, this new showroom is defined as “new immersive urban customer space”. Future buyers will be able to customize – for 2 million euros – their Rimac Nevera, this 1914 hp hypercar, the fastest production electric car in the world with 412 km/h.

The collaboration signed between D’Ieteren and Rimac provides for the Belgian group to supply “full aftermarket support to Rimac owners, using Rimac’s own diagnostic tools and the fully digitized aftermarket architecture developed in-house”.

As a reminder, the Rimac Nevera is equipped with four electric motors, one per wheel, developing a combined power of 1914 hp and 2360 Nm of torque. A single-stage gearbox connects the front and rear wheels. The motors are powered by a 730 V lithium-manganese-nickel battery with a capacity of 120 kWh giving it a range of 550 km WLTP. The Rimac Nevera tolerates a load capacity of 300 kW and goes from 0 to 80% in less than 30 min. The 0 to 100 km / h is shot in 1.9 s.
