Ringover calls on Orange Ventures and Bpifrance to grow and democratize AI


SaaS publisher of contact center software, the French Ringover is finalizing a second funding round. After a series A of 10 million euros in 2021, the company doubles the bet to 20 million. For this series B, accompanied by its historic investor Expedition Growth Capital, it brought in Orange Ventures and Bpifrance through its Large Venture fund.

Thanks to this capital – provided solely in the form of a contribution of equity (without debt or subsidies) – Ringover therefore intends to accelerate its international growth, in particular by setting up in the United States in Atlanta, in more of its presence in Spain and the United Kingdom.

Beginning of the American dream for the SaaS scale-up

With 300 employees and claiming 10,000 customers (small and medium-sized enterprises), Ringover wants to develop the share of its turnover generated outside France. To manage its activity in the United States, the publisher entrusts its new Atlanta site to Renaud Charvet, one of the co-founders.

To fuel its growth, Ringover is also focusing on R&D, the development of new products, the democratization of AI and the increased integration of its SaaS suite with its customers’ business software.

At the product level, the publisher offers an online suite of features for customer and sales departments. Ringover initially focused on sales prospecting, for example through the launch in 2023 of AI-based sales prospecting and conversational analysis tools.

The company now says it is working on “customer service-oriented products to complement its offering.” Its development will also depend on the advanced integrations offered, believes the publisher. “Ringover already integrates with 70+ business tools and expects to double that number in the coming months,” he says.

Democratizing AI for Sales and Customer Service

The hexagonal publisher also aims to stand out in the market thanks to artificial intelligence. Announced goal: to democratize the use of AI in the daily life of sales and customer service centers. Through AI-powered features, Ringover plans to make its suite a co-pilot of its users.

Artificial intelligence will also constitute one of the major axes of its strategy in terms of research and development – which mobilizes a third of the employees. Ludovic Rateau, CTO and co-founder of Ringover, recalls the course: “to offer any company a powerful suite of customer relationship tools, focused on team performance and augmented by AI.”

The entry of Orange into the capital should also contribute to the growth of the SaaS publisher. The French telecoms giant announces that it wants to bring its technological expertise in telecoms and its knowledge of the B2B market in France and abroad.
