Risks of pieces of glass: U stores are reminiscent of rosé

Be careful if you have recently bought rosé in a U brand store. The recall.conso.gouv.fr site. warns against batches of bottles marketed by the large distribution chain throughout France. These are bottles of Cabernet d’Anjou AOP “Les Hauts Buis” U, with the following barcode: 3256220367608, and the lot number L21340A.

The other bottles concerned are Rosés d’Anjou AOP “Les Hauts Buis” U, whose barcode this time is: 3256225037964, and the lot is L21344B20A.

These wine bottles are being recalled for “risk of the presence of pieces of glass”, which is obviously very dangerous for health if swallowed. Serious injuries to the mouth or digestive tract are to be feared. It is recommended that people in possession of these bottles do not consume them and bring them back to the store in order to benefit from a refund. If you have the slightest doubt, the U brand advises you to contact the point of sale where you bought it.

Many reminders

The procedure is initiated until January 20. If you have already consumed this rosé, it is advisable to consult a doctor quickly. The recalls made by Signal Conso have been numerous in recent days. On January 5, Intermarché, Carrefour and Casino recalled mineral water bottles because of their bad taste. The day before, Monoprix recalled Reblochon cheese for Listeria risk.
