Rita Ora made headlines with a party on her 30th birthday in the middle of the corona lockdown. Now she is said to have left the country.

At the end of November, Rita Ora (30, "I Will Never Let You Down") celebrated her birthday with a spontaneous party in London – despite the second Corona lockdown. The violation of the applicable rules in the fight against the pandemic had caused numerous negative headlines. Now, according to the British tabloid "The Sun", the singer is said to have left England for the rest of the year.

Rita Ora blames herself "for her mistakes"

As the paper further reports, Rita Ora is currently in Bulgaria to shoot the music video for a new song that will be released in early 2021. "Rita blamed herself for her mistakes and threw herself into work to distract herself," a source close to the musician is quoted as saying. Then it should go straight to the Christmas and New Year holidays, a return to England is not planned until the new year. "She doesn't want to be in London right now," the source continues. It is important for the singer to "take the time to reflect on everything that has happened".

As a result of her violation of the applicable lockdown rules, Rita Ora apologized for the incident a good two weeks ago in her Instagram story. "I am deeply sorry for breaking the rules and I understand that doing so puts people at risk," she wrote. "That was a grave and inexcusable error of assessment. Given the restrictions, I realize how irresponsible this action was and I take full responsibility on myself."

The artist is particularly embarrassed because she knows firsthand exactly how hard the people have worked to fight this terrible disease. She closed her post with the words "I would like to sincerely apologize".

Several violations of the corona rules are already on her account

According to "The Sun", the 30-year-old's birthday party lasted "until the early hours of the morning". On paparazzi photos that were shown, in addition to Rita Ora, the celebrity sisters Cara (28) and Poppy Delevingne (34) could be seen at the venue.

As the "Daily Mail" also reports, it was not Ora's first violation of the corona protective measures applicable in England. Shortly before her birthday, the singer is said to have traveled from England to Egypt on a private plane and did not go into the mandatory 14-day quarantine after her return.
