On Saturday, emergency services freed a swan from a fishhook at the Ritzensee in Saalfelden in Pinzgau.
Water rescue and fire brigade from Saalfelden caught the animal, which had swallowed a fishing hook, on the lake and drove it ashore.
There the swan was taken care of by a veterinarian and could then be released again.
