After allowing us to experience a real epic last year, Road 96 is once again being talked about through his social networks. The road trip, which allowed you to follow a group of teenagers determined to flee a totalitarian regime, seems not to be quite finished yet.
A new crossing of the desert
Posted on Twitter on January 20 by the Digixart studio, a new image of the game Road 96 has been revealed and it seems that it does not correspond to any of the places visited in the main campaign of the adventure.
As mentioned during our interview with the creative director of Road 96carried out during the AGFD last year, the arrival of the Montpellier studio Digixart within PLAION (formerly Koch Media) allows the latter to see things in a big way: the potential arrival of an extension, or even a suite, so nothing really surprising.
Despite this rather mysterious publication, no other information on this new upcoming content has yet been revealed, although the studio’s responses in the comments of their post seem rather lean towards the imminent arrival of a DLC rather than a sequel per se.
As a reminder, Road 96 is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series and Nintendo Switch.
