Road 96 recounts its beginnings with Mile 0

DigixArt and Ravenscourt invite us to dive back into the world of Road 96 this time with a prequel to the narrative adventure. Road 96: Mile 0 will be available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series and Nintendo Switch on April 4, 2023.

Road 96: Mile 0 takes place in White Sands, the only rich community in Petria, just before the road-trip which begins in the summer of 1996. Players will be able to alternate between two characters, both teenagers with opposite origins and beliefs. Road 96 players will thus find Zoe, one of the main characters. The girl comes from the wealthy part of Petria, and her father works as an oil minister for President Tyrak’s government. The second character, Kaito, meanwhile, was born on the dark and dangerous side of Colton City. Along with his parents, he moved to White Sands in hopes of finding work and escaping the pollution present in the city.

The story focuses here on the rapprochement that will take place between Zoe and Kaito, as well as on their great friendship. But by dint of spending time together, Zoe will make disturbing discoveries both about her country and about her own father. Players will therefore be able to learn the real reasons for Zoe’s escape, as well as the truth about what really happened in 1986 during the attack at the border. And above all, how all these revelations will affect the friendship of the two teenagers.
