What is the “Refugee Food Festival”?
“This festival was created by two travel enthusiasts and started in Paris. Today, there are eleven participating towns including Iguerande with the Colline du Colombier. The goal is to invite a refugee chef to his table. This helps to introduce the general public to refugee situations. And for the guest chefs, to allow them to introduce them into public life and so that they can find a job. So it’s great for everyone! »
Who will you receive at the Colline du Colombier?
“It is Armand Hasanpapaj and his mother Fatime. It will therefore be a kitchen with six hands. The evening will take place on Thursday June 9, with a menu at €49. We have been working for two months on dishes with new flavors from Albania: appetizers, cucumber velouté, byrek (hand-made puff pastry), veal “which stings in the mouth” with chilli paste, baklava with walnuts, elderberry ice cream… Lots of things we don’t know! Armand and Fatime will be in the room with all their energy! »
Who is Chief Armand Hasanpapaj?
“Armand Hasanpapaj is a young Albanian political refugee leader who arrived in France in 2013 with his family. He was then 13 years old. His mother Fatime had a pastry shop in Albania and introduced her son to cooking. Now Armand has a good career in beautiful houses, he also went through Objectif Top Chef and has hundreds of thousands of subscribers on social networks.
What motivates you in this event?
“With my fiancée Lisa Roche, we manage La Colline du Colombier and we are very sensitive about the issue of refugees. Our generation must get involved! »

“Yes, we are launching sharing evenings on June 17 and 24. I have taken all the dishes that I like and we are going to put large dishes in the middle of the tables, with musicians present. This bond between the guests is at the center of our desires for Lisa and me”.
