Robbie Williams has apparently bought a villa on Lake Geneva. The property in Switzerland is intended to serve as permanent residence.

The British singer Robbie Williams (46, "Feel") has apparently bought a house in Switzerland. The 300 square meter villa on Lake Geneva is said to have cost a mere 27 million euros, as reported by the British "The Sun". But the property is supposedly not only intended as a holiday home. Williams allegedly wants to live here permanently with his four children Theodora (born 2012), Charlton (born 2014), Colette (born 2018) and Beau (born 2020) and his wife Ayda Field (41).

Robbie Williams and his family "are thrilled"

According to "The Sun", the villa has a plot of almost 8,500 square meters – including a park-like garden and an outdoor pool. "Robbie and his family are thrilled," an unspecified source told the tabloid. "They love the pace of life here. They love the open spaces and the lake nearby," it continues. The exclusive neighborhood is used to affluent residents, which is why "their privacy is absolutely respected here". The two older children are supposed to attend a private school in Geneva.

Robbie Williams is said to have bought the property from an entrepreneur. The deal is said to have been made while playing golf. "Robbie is a top notch golfer," the source said. The house is apparently only a stone's throw away from the said golf course at Golf Club De Genève.

Robbie Williams was already in Switzerland in 2020

Last year Robbie Williams had already spent some time with his family in Switzerland. During an interview with Steve Wright (66) on BBC Radio 2, the singer stated that he was temporarily living "on a mountain somewhere in Switzerland". In doing so, he wanted to avoid a Covid 19 infection. "It's really warm, it's really nice," Williams said at the time.
