Pop megastar Robbie Williams and his family are real fans of Christmas. That's why they don't want to miss out on a celebration in 2020 either.

Not much has changed for Robbie Williams (46) as a result of the Corona crisis. And he also wants to spend Christmas as normally as possible. The British singer has now revealed in an interview with "Bild am Sonntag".

Williams has just traveled back to the UK from the US and is in quarantine. "Oh, that's not bad for me. My life in England is like a single, eternal lockdown anyway," explains the pop star in the video interview. "Whenever I'm here, I stay behind closed doors because I am recognized everywhere else. In this respect, life for me at the moment is the same as it always is."

Although he could hardly wait for the epidemic year 2020 to be over, he had "really enjoyed spending so much time with my family due to the curfew". For him it was pleasant to "not have to be part of show business (…) During Corona it was definitely easier for me to be a normal person."

They are all Christmas fans

The pandemic apparently has no effect on the Christmas days of Williams, his wife Ayda Field (41) and their four children Theodora (born 2012), Charlton (born 2014), Colette (born 2018) and Beau (born 2020) big influence. "We are at home here in England, with family and a few friends," explains the singer and assures that everyone has been tested beforehand "so that it is safe". This year his father comes to Williams and visits him, the daughter-in-law and the grandchildren. "We just love Christmas, we celebrate!"

Williams had last indicated this on Instagram. For example, he shared a picture of himself in a Christmas sweater with around 2.3 million followers and wrote: "Nothing can stop Christmas, no chance." He is referring to his new song "Can't Stop Christmas", which he recently released.
