Robert De Niro has apparently injured his leg. He is said to have returned to his homeland from the “Killers of the Flower Moon” film set.
Concern about Robert De Niro (77): The actor allegedly injured his leg while filming “Killers of the Flower Moon” by legendary director Martin Scorsese (78). However, he should not have suffered the injury directly on set, as an unspecified source is said to have betrayed the gossip portal “TMZ”. It is therefore not clear how serious the injury is. De Niro is said to have started the journey home to New York on Thursday and left from filming in Oklahoma to visit a doctor on Friday.
According to TMZ, the actor’s injury allegedly did not result in any delay for the shooting of Scorsese’s film. The currently required scenes with De Niro are said to have already been shot. The actor’s plan was to return home for a few weeks anyway. It is unclear whether and when further filming for “Killers of the Flower Moon” is planned with him.
The film adaptation of the bestseller of the same name by David Grann (54), in which Robert De Niro plays alongside Leonardo DiCaprio (46), is about the North American “Osage” Indian tribe, who were gradually murdered in the 1920s . Oil was previously found on its land. The then quite young FBI took on the case and uncovered a conspiracy.
