In an Instagram clip, Carmen Geiss reports that her husband Robert was arrested at Madrid airport.
"Hello guys, that is unimaginable", Carmen Geiss (55, "The Geissens – A terribly glamorous family") opens a new clip that she shared on Instagram. In this she explains that her husband Robert (57) was arrested at an airport in Spain. Visibly upset, she says: "We are here in Madrid, at the airport, and Robert arrested you for allegedly stealing something 20 years ago."
"I am absolutely shocked"
Geiss explains further: "I can not believe all of this. I am absolutely shocked." Three police officers took her husband off the plane. "Like a felon," Robert Geiss was treated. What she experienced was "an absolute nightmare", writes Geiss in an accompanying comment.
According to a report from RTL, the incident occurred last Sunday. The couple were on their way back after filming in the Dominican Republic and made a stopover in Spain. Robert Geiss is free again and therefore had to spend a night in prison.
