RoboCop treats and announces what everyone was waiting for

RoboCop announces excellent news for its community: an element strongly requested by everyone since the release of the FPS. This shows that developers are listening.

Following the undeniable success of RoboCop: Rogue City, publisher Nacon announces the arrival of a highly anticipated feature in a future update of the game. Naturally, this pleases everyone, especially when we know how popular this genre of mechanics is appreciated in other video games. What exactly do we know about this?

RoboCop: developers listen to fans

Fans of RoboCop Rogue City, the surprising FPS of the year 2023, received excellent news to start the year 2024. Nacon, the publisher of the game, confirmed on social networks the addition of a New mode Game Plus in a future update. This feature was one of the most requested by players since release. It is now in programming for our greatest happiness.

For the record, New Game Plus is a mode that generally becomes accessible after completing the game for the first time. This mode allows players to start the story from the beginning, but with certain elements or progress from the previous part. These items may include character experience, skills, weapons, armor, or other special items acquired during the first pass. For RoboCop, it is obviously the various improvements that we unlock little by little. Often, New Game Plus increases the difficulty of the game. Enemies may be stronger or smarter, or there may be new challenges and obstacles that players did not encounter on their first playthrough. We don’t yet know if this will be the case for RoboCop:

un game that is a hit

With a 93% positive rating on Steam, RoboCop: Rogue City has established itself as one of the unexpected hits of 2023. Responding to the game’s success and player feedback, Nacon announced that the update would bring the mode New Game Plus to the FPS title this year. While Nacon has yet to give specific dates or additional details, the game’s continued support months after its initial release is an encouraging sign for players considering giving it a try.

For the record, on Gameblog we gave it a nice score of 7/10 and, despite some weaknesses in the AI, we can only recommend the game if you are a fan of action films from the 80s/90s. It’s a vibrant homage to the films, without a doubt.
