Lidl offers a stylish city e-bike with a low-maintenance belt drive in its online shop. Thanks to a 300 euro discount, the price is very attractive.

The weather is currently pretty mixed, but we’re sure that there will be sunny days again soon. What could be better than getting on a new e-bike? Are you still looking for a Pedelec? Then it’s worth visiting Lidl’s online shop. The discounter is currently offering its city e-bike, which has been available since March, with a huge discount of 300 euros.
The Crivit Urban e-bike is available in different colors, as well as a version with a bar and a low entry. According to Lidl, the version with a low entry is suitable for people between 1.60 and 1.90 meters tall, while the e-bike with a bar is suitable for people between 1.70 and 1.95 meters tall.
The city bike has 27.5 inch wheels. It weighs around 21 kilograms and is approved for a maximum total weight of 140 kilograms. The battery has a capacity of 360 watt hours.
With its 45 Newton-meter rear-wheel motor, it should be sufficient for a range of 100 kilometers – depending on the riding style and support level, of course.
Boost function and belt drive
There are three of them, as well as a fourth boost function that provides maximum power for up to 20 seconds. The Pedelec also offers a lighting system, a luggage rack and mudguards. The bike is also protected against water jets according to IPX5.
What isn’t there? A suspension fork, a suspension seat post or gears. Instead, there are hydraulic disc brakes on board and a belt drive instead of a chain. Overall, the equipment is really good for the low price. Due to the lack of gears, the e-bike is particularly suitable for short distances – short tours, trips to work or shopping.

The Crivit Urban E-Bike X.2 costs you 1,299 euros. The regular retail price at the discounter is significantly higher at 1,599 euros.
