With the end of Season 7 fast approaching, players are eagerly awaiting the start of Rocket League Season 8, on the one hand to discover the novelties, but also to see what the developers will reserve for them during the season.
RL Season 8 Unveiled
Among the most important things that happen, note a new arena, Sovereign Heights. This places us on a pretty lawn and a unique, rather colorful decor. Of course, a Rocket Pass will be offered, which contains a real vehicle, the Honda Civic Type R. It is a high performance sedan developed by Honda. On RL, the vehicle will offer us an Octane hitbox. Other major items in this battle pass are the Turbo Sprattle, the Reactive Big Cap Attachment, and the Savage Spray Aim Blast, to name a few.
For the rest, Psyonix has already announced the color for the content that will be deployed during the season, in particular with the return of the special Halloween event. We will be able to (re)discover the Haunted Hallows event, probably with some tweaks. We will have more details on this later in the year, shortly before its introduction.
What is the release date for Season 8?
The good news is that you won’t have to wait very long, since Psyonix has programmed the launch of this Rocket League Season 8 this Wednesday, September 7, 2022. This will be done, as always, overnight, but the update can be downloaded the day before, September 6 in the evening.
