Here again, not all objectives are unlocked at the moment and you will have to complete 20 of them if you want to collect all the associated rewards, mainly stickers.
But that’s not all, because in addition to the details communicated by Epic Gamespatch notes shared on Reddit revealed the addition of five more tracks, some changes and bug fixes. You will find our translation below.
RUN AT FULL SPEED ON A NEW ROCKET RACING TRACK
“Fuel and fire”, but the atmosphere is not yet hot enough. Raise the temperature further with the new Metallic Mountain track from Rocket Racing ! This volcanic track is like rock. There you will find instrumental monuments, a section shaped like a sleeve and “Fuel” by Metallica as background music.
This track is heavy, but that doesn’t mean it’s particularly difficult. This is a Novice level race that you can unlock in Bronze I ranked races!
The Backfire Chassis is one of the Metallica quest rewards for Rocket Racing. The same goes for the Master of Puppets sticker and the Chasing Light wheels! Carve a path to the finish line.
The Rocket Racing Metal Mountain track and successive Metallica quests will be available in Rocket Racing until August 16, 2024 at 4 p.m. (CEST). So, skid and accumulate as much turbo as possible on the Metal Mountain!

Ride The Lightning Wheels will be available in the Item Shop until June 26! If you already own the Jäger 619 pack in Fortnite, you will automatically receive the Master of Puppets sticker when added to the Item Shop as well as ALL Jäger Chassis 619 stickers available in the Item Shop in the future, if you don’t already own them. This affects all chassis packs starting with update 30.10. If you don’t already own them, you automatically get any sticker from a frame pack you own the moment it is added to the store.
PATCH NOTES
Metallica and Metal Mountain
- A new track, Metal Mountain, is now available!
- Metal Mountain is available to Bronze I players and above in Ranked Races.
- The Metallica quests are here and include the Backfire Chassis as one of the rewards.
- You can complete Metallica quests in ranked races or by choosing the track directly in the browser.
- Players who already own Backfire in Rocket League should see it in their locker.
- Several quest rewards, including the Puppetmaster sticker and Chasing Light Wheels, are cross-game items and will appear in Rocket League.
New tracks
Five additional tracks have been added.
- Alpine (Expert) – Take a quick ride through Alpine while marveling at the mountain peaks. Don’t forget your parka!
- Borealis (Advanced) – Admire the starry sky and ride in the middle of the spectacular Borealis! Be careful not to get snowed in during the process.
- Mine Mission (Expert) – Spin through the frenetic paths of Mission Mine. Several routes are available, but which will be the fastest to gold?
- Beached boat (Advanced) – Ahoy, my friends! Make sure you don’t get stranded on the rough roads of Beached Boat! Don’t let yourself fail!
- Friends Beach (Advanced) – Get ready to have a tubular moment by reaching the top and sculpting the impressive swirls of the Plage des potes! There’s nothing but good vibes and smooth rides here, man.
General changes and improvements
- Reduced manual vehicle reset time to 0.25 seconds (was 0.5 seconds).
- To avoid strange or extreme bounces on the track environment, “wall bounces” will now only occur on track pieces and not on any surface.
- Added a “Reset Current Time Trial” hotkey to Settings.
- A “New Tracks” section has been added to the track selection screen.
Cross-Game Items
- Several Rocket League Season 15 Rocket Pass cross-game eligible items, including the Nissan Fairlady Z body, are now available.
- Other cross-game elements will be available in update 30.10:
- Lightning trail;
- Blazer trail.
Bug fixes
- Fixed a bug that caused your vehicle to turn around when skidding off a ramp.
- Fixed several edge cases that could cause your vehicle to explode when landing from a jump.
