At the end of last year, Epic Games launched several new gaming experiences within Fortniteof which Rocket Racing developped by Psyonixalready behind Rocket League. Racing enthusiasts without too much hassle can therefore enjoy the Season 0. With update 28.10 deployed in recent days, some new features have been implemented, some of which are deserved. Indeed, two additional circuits are available once a certain rank is reached. And since everything is good to monetize the game even more, of the trails are added to the list of personalization elementswhich can be used in both titles Rocket once unlocked. At the moment it is possible to obtain some by completing certain objectives, but we have no doubt that the Shop will welcome them in the future. And if you play on mobile, the touch controls have received adjustments.

Rocket Racing update 28.10 is here, so it’s time to hit the ground running! Put your drifting skills to the test on two new tracks and dazzle your rivals with a drag for your car in update 28.10. Also enjoy a smooth ride with many quality of life improvements, including updated controls on mobile.
TWO NEW ADVANCED TRACKS
Want to take on a new challenge? Rev your engine, because Update 28.10 arrives with two new Advanced tracks that will have you skidding around tight turns, dodging obstacles and soaring to the finish line.
Dangerous adaptation of a fan favorite, The first new track is Languid Lagoon 2, unlockable in racing ranked Gold I. Keep your hands firmly on the wheel as you take risks in overtime.
Next comes the K2 Track part 2, where you will speed along winding roads and get some fresh air. This track is designed for experienced drivers, so you will need to master your racing technique and reach Platinum I rank to unlock it in classified racing.
NEW CUSTOMIZATION OPTION: TRAILS !
Get ready to overtake your rivals at full speed and in style! With Rocket Racing’s new trails, customize the dust you leave on the track when you skid past the pack.
Trails are a new type of locker item that you can use to customize your car. Trailers will soon be eligible for multi-game ownership. This means that you will own certain streaks in Rocket League if you get them in Fortnite (and vice versa). The first streak breaking into Rocket Racing is the original Fortnite drag Smoke, which is now in everyone’s locker in Fortnite! More trails for Fortnite will gradually be added to the store.
The Skid Smoke trail will be in your Rocket League Garage at a later date if you play Fortnite and Rocket League with the same Epic account. Get different colors for this trail by completing the Season 0 Focus quests before March 26, 2024 at 5:00 a.m. (European Central Time). Make your opponents bite the dust on the track!

In Fortnite, trails are currently limited to Rocket Racing. Trails offer no competitive advantage.
IMPROVED TOUCH CONTROLS ON MOBILE
Update 28.10 includes improvements to playing Rocket Racing on mobile using touch controls.
- The D-Pad, as well as the Accelerate, Turbo, Air Dodge, and Jump buttons now have improved usability and have all received visual improvements.
- Auto Acceleration is now enabled. It can be engaged or disengaged.
- To stop, you now need to press and hold the brake button. As soon as the speedometer reaches 0, you will start going in reverse.
MAJOR IMPROVEMENTS AND BUGS FIXES
- Improved process performance overall, especially on low-end devices.
- Staying idle during a run will now send the player back to the lobby.
- Car collisions are now less serious. We will continue to improve this interaction in future updates.
- Landing after air dodging is now smoother.
- Do you have the tokens before the race? You can now maneuver and rotate the camera before a race!
- The Inverted Piloting Method parameter, which reverses the controls when you are upside down, now remains activated when you change it.
- Fixed an issue with players getting stuck after a race.
- Fixed an issue on Android preventing players from switching languages.
