Rocksteady shuts down Suicide Squad servers urgently – Gamosaurus

Just launched in certain countries, the servers of

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League
are already under maintenance. Rocksteady’s brand new title has barely had time to see the light of day when a considerable number of players have made themselves heard. The reason: the story mode was already completed when they launched the game for the first time. Suffice it to say that it was a big mistake that forced the studio to shut down the servers. And this operation could take several hours, which risks enraging players.

And it is right that they are raising their voices. This early access is available to those who have pre-ordered the Deluxe edition, €20 more expensive than the base game. At this price, it is normal that they expect to be able to at least enjoy the experience. But in addition to the hell that was development,
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League suffers from its status as a service game. You need a permanent Internet connection to be able to enjoy it, even for story mode.

A complicated start

Because of this, less than an hour after its launch, Rocksteady had to cut off access to the servers of Suicide Squad in order to carry out maintenance. Players who wanted to take advantage of it as soon as it was released will therefore have to wait a few more hours. And it’s not the studio’s excuses that will calm things down. The hard-won aura with the trilogy
Batman Arkham seems to have completely evaporated, and for a while now.

The various trailers and presentations were not really convincing, and the multiple postponements showed some problems. After mostly negative press feedback on a trial version of the game, Warner decided not to offer any test codes to the press. A clear sign that the title will surely not be up to par, and that they want to hide it for as long as possible so as not to collapse upon launch.
