Actor Roger E. Mosley, known from the cult series “Magnum”, died as a result of a car accident. He was 83 years old.

The American actor Roger E. Mosley is dead. As reported by the “Hollywood Reporter”, among others, Mosley died on Sunday, August 7, 2022, at the age of 83.

Roger E. Mosley is survived by three daughters

He is best known for his role as Theodore “TC” Calvin in the original series “Magnum” opposite Tom Selleck, 77. There Mosley played a helicopter pilot and close friend of private investigator and main character Thomas Magnum.

Mosley reportedly died at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles from complications in a car accident. He had sustained serious injuries in an accident in nearby Lynwood three days earlier. His daughter Ch-a confirmed this to the newspaper. In total, Mosley leaves behind three daughters.

Last seen in “Magnum” reissue

Before his role in “Magnum” from 1980 to 1988, Mosley made a name for himself with episode roles in cult series such as “The Streets of San Francisco”, “Starsky & Hutch” or “Kojak – Einsatz in Manhattan”. After the end of the “Magnum” series, he again took on numerous guest roles in series such as “Love Boat” or “Walker, Texas Rangers”. He was last seen in two episodes of the “Magnum” remake “Magnum PI”.
