Luisa Mattioli is dead: The Italian actress and ex-wife of James Bond actor Roger Moore died at the age of 85.

The Italian actress Luisa Mattioli has died at the age of 85. This is reported by the British Daily Mail, citing her family. Mattioli became known nationwide above all as the third wife of the former James Bond actor Roger Moore (1927-2017). According to the statement, she was “sick for some time”.

Mattioli and Moore first met in 1961 on the set of the adventure comedy “The Robbery of the Sabine Women”. The wedding followed in 1969, after which they had three children together. After the official separation in 1992, they divorced in 1996 – including a public mud fight. Moore left his third wife for the Danish millionaire Kristina Tholstrup (80), with whom he was married until his death in 2017.

She received a large sum

The confirmation says that despite the bitter separation, the two reconciled before Moore’s death. Mattioli was born in the small town of San Stino di Livenza in 1936 and made a name for herself as an Italian film actress in the 1950s. After the divorce from Moore, she received around 12 million euros from her ex-husband and processed the events in her memoir.
