Rogue Legacy 2 announces the end of its early access on PC and its release on Xbox

Not really at the level when it started due to a lack of content, as von yogurt had noticed when trying the game from Cellar Door Games, Rogue Legacy 2 will have almost two years of updates in its favor when it celebrates its official launch in three weeks. Released in June 2013 and currently free on the Epic Games Store, Rogue Legacy the first of the name had argued the effectiveness of its concept at a time when the rogue-like / rogue-lite genre was not yet ubiquitous in the video game landscape.

The latest game from Cellar Door Games, which had not met with similar success with Full Metal Furies, follows in the footsteps of its elder by betting on a random descent system thanks to which the player embodies a character with different characteristics (and sometimes funny) with each of his new attempts to reach the boss of the region.

Opting for a 2.5D production, Rogue Legacy 2 is announced today as richer than its predecessor when it comes to weapons, abilities, classes and biomes. However, it retains an important principle, that of not losing everything after a death, the player can use his money to build his mansion and improve his lineage permanently thanks to the skill tree.
