  • With a market price of 17.99 euros, the Roku SE is probably the cheapest streaming player.
  • Aldi Nord is once again offering the special version of the Roku Express for a limited time.
  • Between February 2nd and 15th, the cheap devices can be bought at discounters.

The Roku SE is back – and budget-minded streaming fans should mark February 2nd. From then on, the discounter Aldi Nord will have the special edition on offer again: the entire streaming offer from Netflix to Paramount+ is available again via the compact TV stick for an unbeatable 17.99 euros.

According to the retail chain, the Roku SE should be available in its branches by February 15 – but only while stocks last. So if you are looking for a cheap, smart streaming platform for the second television or a PC monitor, you could definitely get weak.

In addition to a now almost complete selection of popular streaming apps, the Roku SE also offers AirPlay compatibility and HD playback quality – the latest HDR standards are just as little part of the package as Dolby Atmos or UHD resolution.

You can find out what else the Roku SE can do and what the inexpensive player lacks in the detailed Netzwelt test report on the Roku SE linked here. For more demanding streamers, there is also the Roku Streaming Stick 4k, which Netzwelt has also tested.
