Roland Heitz is suffering from cancer. The prostate must therefore be removed from the actor and “Summer House of the Stars” participant.
The two “Summer House of the Stars” participants Roland Heitz, 65, and Janina Korn, 39, are facing difficult times: the former “Schwarzwaldklinik” actor was recently diagnosed with prostate cancer. On June 28, doctors therefore removed his so-called prostate gland in an operation, as the couple announced in the “Bild” newspaper.
In the interview, the actor’s fiancé also commented on the upcoming challenges: “There is a risk that we will never be able to be intimate again. The question that arises: rather impotent or cancer? The answer is clear: the main thing is cancer-free!”
Janina Korn: “Life still has so much in store for us”
Through Roland, she would have learned what it means to really love a partner, Janina Korn continues. The couple also works a lot together: They run a YouTube channel and most recently shot a documentary for the VOX broadcaster. They’re going to get married next year. Korn: “Life still has so much in store for us – who needs sex anyway?”
The “Black Forest Clinic” star and his 26-year-old colleague met at the theater. In 2021, the couple took part in the “Summer House of the Stars”, but were chosen first. The two announced their engagement in October last year.
