In the summer, Roland Kaiser invites you to his “Kaisermania” concerts on the banks of the Elbe in Dresden. Now he has announced an additional date.

Pop singer Roland Kaiser (70) had already sold out the four dates of his “Kaisermania” concerts in July and August in Dresden in November 2022. Now, shortly before Easter, the musician has given his fans a special surprise: there will be an additional concert.

“I am very happy to be able to give you all a gift for the 20th anniversary of ‘Kaisermania’ just before the Easter holidays,” writes the singer at Instagram. The additional show is scheduled for August 6th. Kaiser will also perform as planned on July 28th and 29th and August 4th and 5th on the banks of the Elbe in Dresden. Advance ticket sales for the additional date start on Wednesday, April 5 at 10 a.m. at Eventim.

Concert series as a cult event

“Kaisermania” took place for the first time around 20 years ago as a single open-air concert as part of the “Filmnächt am Elbufer”. In the meantime, the Kaiser concerts in front of the backdrop of Dresden’s old town are considered a cult event by Schlager fans. To date, over half a million people have experienced it live on site. Traditionally, there is also a live broadcast from MDR for fans in front of their home screens.

In the summer of 2023, Kaiser will also go on an open-air tour through Germany and Austria from mid-May to the beginning of September. There are 28 appointments in total.
