One of her favorite designers is now making fashion for Kate

Roland Mouret has been a good friend of Duchess Meghan for many years. However, the designer has now revealed in an interview that he had her sister-in-law, Duchess Catherine, in mind when designing his latest collection.
The day before her big wedding to Prince Harry, 38, in May 2018, Duchess Meghan, 41, wore a dark blue dress by Roland Mouret, 61. All cameras were on her as she dressed in the elegant form-fitting dress with ruffled details on the skirt and A boat neckline (similar to that of her wedding dress) arrives at the Cliveden House Hotel in Berkshire.

Roland Mouret’s clothes meet Meghan’s taste
A few months later, she wore the same dress in a heather gray for her meeting with Ireland’s President Michael D. Higgins. She likes the fashion of the French designer; classic and elegant with a modern twist. Even before her time as a royal, she wore his creations, he is even considered a friend of the Duchess of Sussex.

Kate only wore a dress he penned in May this year. Wearing a black dress with a white off-the-shoulder neckline from this year’s collection, she walked the red carpet at the premiere of Top Gun alongside husband William and the likes of Tom Cruise and Miles Teller. She had had the dress slightly altered beforehand, had the zipper removed at the back, but still drew everyone’s attention.

That’s why there’s a “Kate Dress” in his new collection
Also in his latest collection there is a dress – orange and with short sleeves, which he gallantly calls the “Kate Dress”, she describes as his inspiration.
I design and think of them. It makes me proud to be able to help her create clothes that make her feel protected in this moment when the whole world is looking at her.
On the evening of the premiere, everyone was able to admire the fact that Kate feels comfortable in her fashion. Will she also look at and wear his new collection? Maybe Duchess Meghan will show up again in a Roland Mouret dress, Meghan in “Kate Dress” – that would almost be an offer of reconciliation …
