Venice has been forgotten, and Paris cannot keep up either. Because the most romantic place in Europe is in Ukraine. Walk into the "tunnel of love", as the locals call it. The work of art made of trees and bushes creates a fairy tale setting that attracts lovers from all over the world.
Not far from Kiev
The Ukraine is more likely to be associated with Vitali (49) and Wladimir Klitschko (44, "F.A.C.E. the Challenge") and the dispute over the Crimea as romantic and trusting togetherness, right? Nevertheless, about 350 kilometers from the capital Kiev, there is a place that is a true idyll for lovers:
The "Tunnel of Love" is actually a railway line densely overgrown with bushes and tendrils, on which a private railway travels three times a day to a factory. The rails lead through a forest, which could not be easily displaced. Bit by bit, nature has recaptured its territory and simply avoided the train. The result: a green tunnel!
