Novak Djokovic will not be in the quarter-finals of the Rome Masters for the first time since 2006. The Serbian was beaten by Alejandro Tabilo this Sunday in the third round. The world number 1 lost his first two service games and failed to break the Chilean. Final score: 6-2, 6-3. Complicated start for Djoko’, who was playing his first tournament on clay this season. In the other matches of the day, French surprise Terence Atmane lost to Gregor Dimitrov. A logical defeat in two sets, during which the native of Boulogne-sur-mer still won nine games (7-6(3), 6-3). Karen Khachanov also validated her ticket for the round of 16 by beating Francisco Cerundolo (6-2, 6-4).
