Model became the mother of a daughter

Romee Strijd became a mother. That the model can now hold his daughter in her arms is not a matter of course.
"Victoria's Secret" angel Romee Strijd (25) became a mother for the first time. The model announced the birth of her daughter, who goes by the sweet name Mint, via Instagram – with an intimate still photo and some touching words. After all, the 25-year-old and her husband Laurens van Leeuwen have had challenging years.
"Mint van Leeuwen, we feel blessed to finally be able to hold you in our arms! We are so much in love with you," writes the Dutch woman about the photo in which she is lovingly holding her child to her breast and nursing it.
She thought she could never have children
She has been married to her long-term partner since 2018. It cannot be taken for granted that the couple can now hold their offspring in their arms. When Strijd announced her pregnancy in late May, the model also revealed that two years ago she had been diagnosed with ovarian disease PCOS – one of the most common causes of infertility. But the Dutch woman didn't give up, changed her lifestyle and the pregnancy worked out.
