Another name for “The Flash” has been set with Ron Livingston. Meanwhile, Michael Keaton’s appearance could still be on the brink.

The film project “The Flash” welcomes a new face to its ranks: actor Ron Livingston (53, “Conjuring”). As reported by the US site “Variety”, he will take on the role of Henry Allen in the superhero flick and mime the father of The Flash alias Barry Allen. The part was originally occupied by Billy Crudup (52). However, he had to cancel the role again due to scheduling conflicts with the work on the series “The Morning Show”.

But no reunion with Michael Keaton?

In addition to main actor Ezra Miller (28), Ben Affleck (48) as Batman and Michael Keaton (69) as Batman should also be seen in the film, which is aiming for a US premiere in November 2022 – each coming from different dimensions. The fact that Keaton will slip into the superhero attire again seems to be on the brink at the moment. He recently confessed in an interview with “Deadline”that he actually hardly has any time for the film project. About his work on “The Flash” he said: “I really don’t know. I have to look at the last draft.”

This comes from “Birds of Prey” script writer Christina Hodson, “Es” director Andrés Muschietti (47) will take a seat in the director’s chair. It’s the first standalone movie adventure for Barry Allen aka The Flash. He previously appeared on Justice League and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Production of the superhero film is slated to begin this year.
