Ron Wood survived cancer for the second time. He got the diagnosis in lockdown, as the Rolling Stones star revealed.

Ron Wood (73) fought cancer again during the corona lockdown. In the meantime, however, the all-clear. The Rolling Stones star revealed to the British newspaper “The Sun”that he was recently diagnosed with small cell cancer. This type of condition often occurs in the lungs, but it can affect other areas of the body as well.

This is the second time that the musician has been able to defeat cancer. He was diagnosed with lung cancer in 2017 and part of his lungs had to be removed during an operation. Wood said the “Sun” now about his recovery from cancer, you have to let go and accept what you can’t change: “What will be, will be, it has nothing to do with me.” He added, “All I can do is stay positive in my mindset, be strong and fight it, and the rest lies with a higher power.”

Father of six

Ron Wood spent the lockdown with his wife Sally (43) and their four-year-old twin daughters Gracie Jane and Alice Rose. The British music star has four grown children from two previous marriages.
