Ronaldo worries about a World Cup ticket
Serbia shocked Portugal in the 90th minute
A World Cup without Cristiano Ronaldo? Unthinkable? But no! The superstar has to sit with his Portuguese and the playoffs for Qatar. Everything is going wonderfully against Serbia at first, but then there is a late shock – after a fatal inattentiveness.
The next participants are now fixed: Spain and Serbia have qualified for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. Spain struggled to a 1-0 (0-0) against pursuers Sweden on Sunday evening, who moved into the playoffs. The Spaniards dominated the game, which was led by the German referee Felix Brych, in front of their home crowd. It was excruciatingly long, however, until the 86th minute before Alvaro Morata scored. Sweden did without their old star striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic in the starting line-up and rarely radiated danger. Meanwhile, Emil Forsberg from RB Leipzig (40th) missed the greatest chance. In the second game of Group B there was a 1: 1 (1: 0) point between Greece and Kosovo. Giorgos Masouras’ opening goal (44th) was finally equalized by Amir Rrahmani (76th).
