Ronan Keating
Recording of spicy temper tantrum surfaced
Ronan Keating worked closely with his former manager Louis Walsh for many years – until an argument divided them forever. In a recording that is now circulating again, you can hear the singer angrily complaining about his former colleague.
Ronan Keating complains about his ex-manager Louis Walsh
Louis Walsh is currently taking part in the British “Big Brother” format and doesn’t miss the chance to express his opinion about Ronan Keating. The musician is an “asshole,” says the Irish music manager in the reality show and adds: “Ronan hasn’t had a hit since he fired me.” Now the “Sun” has been given a tape that dates back to 2006 – the zenith of the dispute. At that time, the “When You Say Nothing at All” interpreter spoke to celebrity interviewer Rob McGibbon. First of all, the now 47-year-old, who managed “Westlife” with Walsh for several years, emphasizes that he misses his friend: “I’m grateful to Louis for what he did for me when I came to ‘Boyzone’. […] It was more than just collaboration, we were friends.” But Walsh didn’t support him enough in his solo career. “He really hurt me,” said Ronan.
“I have no respect for Louis”
“I have no respect for Louis because he has no respect for me. He was very jealous of me,” Keating says on the recording, adding: “I had to fire him because he didn’t want to manage me. He’s a very selfish person. […] He’s a bullsh***er.” Even though the “If Tomorrow Never Comes” interpreter made these statements during the height of his argument with his former colleague, it’s clear from Walsh’s “Big Brother” participation that the two of them have theirs Apparently they never got rid of the conflict.
Over the past twenty years they have repeatedly handed out tips. “[Keating] “Wasn’t the most talented – he’s not a great singer and he has no personality,” Louis Walsh once said, according to the Mirror. Ronan didn’t hold back either, telling Closer magazine in 2012: “That man tried to kill me to ruin. If he thinks we can ever hug and make up, he can forget about it. I haven’t heard from him in three years and I wouldn’t mind if I never saw him again. He’s not a nice person.” Time literally heals all wounds, but for Ronan Keating and Louis Walsh, reconciliation seems to be out of the question.
