Roselyne Bachelot attacked by a cinema distributor: Laurent Ruquier reframes it: Current Woman The MAG

On March 17, 2021, it will be a year since France experienced its first confinement … but not the last. Since then, many citizens have deplored the government's management of the health crisis linked to Covid-19. Among them, restaurant owners have continued to protest against the closures of bars, restaurants and other so-called non-essential places. Also very affected, the singers, actors and other intermittents have – on several occasions – asked the Minister of Culture to save them. Faced with the lack of response from the government and in particular from Roselyne Bachelot, Jean Labadie, distributor and founder of the company Le Pacte, gave a rant on Twitter.

Thursday March 4, 2021, he wrote: "The Minister of Culture has canceled the meeting with the cinema profession tomorrow for the possible reopening of theaters. This meeting has been expected since December 20, but we can imagine that it has better things to do (perhaps a tribute from the Big Heads or an essay for Hanouna?) ". A sarcastic message that did not go unnoticed. Among the many Internet users who answered him, Laurent Ruquier replied a few minutes later. "Les Grosses TĂȘtes love cinema as much as you do, Mr. Labadie, and maybe you can settle accounts with the Minister without despising us. Thank you", he tweeted. Upon discovering this exchange, an internet user gave him an idea: "Invite Roselyne and Jean to discuss and you will do useful work".

When Pierre Niney challenged Roselyne Bachelot and Emmanuel Macron

Jean Labadie is not the only one to deplore the lack of measures taken for the cultural sector. On February 7, 2021, actor Pierre Niney challenged Roselyne Bachelot and Emmanuel Macron, writing: "100 days without any museum, but with all the places of worship. 100 days without any cinema, but with all the department stores. 100 days without any theater, but with all the planes where you eat at the same time … 100 days of incomprehension … " What the minister replied to him on the morning set of BFMTV : "I hear the frustration of the artists. There may be a figure missing from Pierre Niney's questioning to me: 80,000 deaths from the coronavirus, hundreds of thousands of people with extremely hard after-effects, these people who will never find a normal life (.. .). This is what is difficult to manage: taking into account health constraints and ensuring that cultural activities continue in the best way ".
