“The Rosenheim Cops” actor Christian K. Schaeffner is both amazed and delighted about the newcomer Michaela Weingartner
The crime series “Die Rosenheim-Cops” changes some roles for the upcoming 23rd season: While Sophie Melbinger, 37, and Sevda Polat, 37, want to face new professional challenges and leave their old roles behind, fans can look forward to look forward to a new face. Although, it’s not all that new: because actress Michaela Weingartner, 32, should not only be known to many for her role as Merle Finow – she also had one or the other small role in “Die Rosenheim-Cops”, for example already played a murder suspect . In the new season, however, she takes on a more important role, namely that of chief inspector Julia Beck, who will be an investigator duo with Anton Stadler (Dieter Fischer, 52).
Colleague Christian K. Schaeffer, 57, watched Weingartner’s development with great curiosity and was amazed when he found out that she would soon be part of the ensemble. “I secretly thought to myself: It’s surprising that they let them go during the ‘Sturm’,” says Schaeffner in an interview with “tz”. The actor is very impressed by his new colleague, he continues: “I think she’s a great choice, a really great one. I found her sensational in ‘Storm of Love’.” However, the fans will have to be patient a little longer until they see Weingartner in action: The 23rd season has been filming since mid-March and will probably not be broadcast until autumn 2023.
