  • France 0-1 Croatia

Kylian Mbappé, Karim Benzema and Christopher Nkunku have a whopping 128 goals and 52 assists in their accounts at the club this season. Against Croatia all 3 played from the start for the first time; but the triumvirate had no effect and France was also without a win in the 4th game of this Nations League campaign.

Captain Luka Modric scored the decisive goal for Croatia after just 5 minutes: After a foul by France’s Ibrahima Konaté in the penalty area, Croatia’s oldie converted the penalty that was due. While «the checkers» advanced to second place thanks to the 3 points from the World Cup final reprise, the French world champion remains on the relegation zone.

  • Denmark 2-0 Austria

The Danes remain a somewhat surprisingly confident leader in Group 3. Against a weak Austria they brought in the 3rd victory in the 4th game. After just 21 minutes, Joakim Maehle put the ball back coolly to Jonas Wind, who scored to make it 1-0. Just 15 minutes later, Andreas Skov Olsen made it 2-0 for the Danes, who were clearly superior over long stretches.
