Rowenta goes straight to the point with the X-PERT 6.60 stick vacuum cleaner

Rowenta’s catalog of upright vacuum cleaners is growing with the X-PERT 6.60, a model in stick format whose heaviest components (motor, filtration system and waste container) are located near the user’s hand . This configuration popularized by the British Dyson makes it possible to handle the device without too much muscular effort, equipped or not with its suction tube. In this way, you can reach places that are difficult to dust, such as the back of sofas or the upper corners of rooms.

Unlike the X-Nano which adopts a straight handle, the X-PERT 6.60 is equipped with a much more traditional revolver handle. A trigger is also the general power button since Rowenta has chosen a continuous suction mode; it is not necessary to keep the fist closed to press the button and continue the aspiration. We gain in comfort what we lose (a little) in autonomy since we do not necessarily think of turning off the vacuum cleaner to move a piece of furniture or a trinket on a shelf. On the other hand, the turbo mode is used in intervals. Indeed, it is necessary to activate a small zipper with the index to engage it. By releasing it, the turbo mode stops automatically.

But that’s not the only trick the X-PERT 6.60 has: the tube and suction head pair can stand on its own. It therefore becomes unnecessary to find or place these two elements when it is necessary to use the device in handheld vacuum mode.

Apart from that, the Rowenta X-PERT 6.60 is a very classic stick vacuum that uses monocyclonic filtration. The system elements are located in the waste container with a volume of 0.55 l. According to the manufacturer, its Li-ion battery gives it an autonomy of 45 min, in eco mode of course and without an electrobrush connected. Good point: the latter has a ramp of LEDs on the front which makes it easier to spot dust on dark floors or under furniture.

The Rowenta X-PERT 6.60 stick vacuum cleaner is already available for €185 in its Essential version, delivered with a textile brush, two brushes and a long nozzle. There is also a so-called “animal kit” iteration sold for €240, which benefits from an electric mini-turbobrush, in addition to the other accessories already mentioned.
