It’s been a few years now since the French manufacturer Rowenta launched its X-Force Flex range; a name inspired by the flexible suction tube with which the stick vacuum cleaners in the series are equipped. The latest representative, the the corners into which canister vacuums cannot venture. The famous flexible tube also makes it possible to enlarge the field of action of the X-Force Flex 13.60 since it facilitates suction under furniture by disarticulating.

The articulated tube system has not evolved since the X-Force Flex 11.60. .

The big new feature of this model is its Aqua Aerospin suction head. Thanks to it, the X-Force Flex 13.60 is capable of vacuuming up trash, but it can also wash the floor thanks to a pair of rotating mops placed behind the suction port.

The water tank is on the right.

These are continuously humidified thanks to a water tank (which the user can add detergent) on the head. Obviously, suction performance will suffer from the absence of a roller which brings the debris towards the suction tube or which beats the thick carpets to remove the dust. However, the manufacturer provides a completely classic suction head, equipped with said roller, in order to extend the versatility of the stick vacuum cleaner.

The suction port is reduced to its simplest expression.

Except for this accessory, the Rowenta X-Force Flex 13.60 stick vacuum cleaner is a device very similar to the rest of the range. Its removable Li-ion battery allows it to operate for 60 minutes, at the lowest power level and without an electrobrush connected. You can extend the vacuuming session by purchasing a second battery. A small originality of the X-Force Flex range, the turbo mode is activated by activating a pull tab placed in place of the trigger; a specificity which allows this very energy-intensive mode to be used at key moments in the household only so as not to overuse the battery. Another tip for saving energy (and therefore, extending autonomy), the vacuum head is able to recognize the type of floor over which it passes in order to automatically adapt the suction power.

Please note, as is the case with any self-respecting stick vacuum cleaner, you will need to install a wall support to store the Rowenta X-Force Flex 13.60. The latter is equipped with a connector so that the batteries are recharged when the stick vacuum cleaner is stored and waiting to be used.

The Rowenta X-Force Flex 13.60 stick vacuum cleaner is already available and it costs €500 to equip it.
