Earl of Lindsay married his great love Kate O’Connor last weekend, September 16th and 17th, 2023 . The dream wedding took place in the small Scottish town of St Andrews in the southeast of the country.

O’Connor wore the same pearl and diamond tiara that David’s sister Lady Charlotte Lindesay-Bethune wore to her wedding to Prince Jaime of Bourbon-Sicily in 2021 at a cathedral in Montreale, a city in the hills of Sicily.

Three day wedding break

The beautiful photos were taken by wedding photographers, among others David Wheeler posted on Instagram as well as Kate O’Connor’s mother Jane Sarkin. With another couple photo, she revealed on the social media platform a few months ago that the couple had gotten engaged on April 3, 2023. Photographer Wheeler reveals further wedding details for a breathtaking portrait of the bride and her tiara. Accordingly, the celebrations are said to have lasted three days and “took place in different locations”.

David Nigel Lindesay-Bethune is the youngest son of Diana Lindesay-Bethune, 62, 16th Earl of Lindsay and James Randolph Lindesay-Bethune, 16th Earl of Lindsay, a Scottish politician and member of the House of Lords. David has the courtesy title the Honorable, which means “Hon.” is abbreviated. He has an older brother, two older sisters and a younger one.

Kate O’Connor’s mother is also no stranger. According to her profile on the business platform LinkedIn, Jane Sarkin was a woman for 33 years Features Editor for the US edition of “Vanity Fair”. So Kate grew up in the spotlight, was allowed to walk red carpets and meet stars like Leonardo DiCaprio, 48, Katie Holmes, 44, and Tom Cruise, 61.
