“The church wedding of Prince Corbinian and Princess Magdalena took place in the bride’s home on the island of Rügen.” With these words, the house of Bavaria announced the wedding of Corbinian and his Magdalena on Saturday evening, August 12, 2023. Accordingly, the bride wore “a silk crepe dress by the designer @hedwig.feldscher from Vienna”. It continued: “The Belgian lace veil is an heirloom passed down the maternal line of the bride’s family for seven generations. Its roots date back to 1840.”

Corbinian, Prince of Bavaria was born in 1996 and is the son of Gudila Countess von Plettenberg-Lenhausen and Prince Christoph of Bavaria and grandson of Prince Rasso of Bavaria, who died in 2011. His grandfather, in turn, was Crown Prince Rupprecht, the last heir to the throne before the abolition of the monarchy in Bavaria.
