Princess Madeleine is on “private vacation”

The Swedish royal family couldn’t be happier: Finally, Princess Madeleine, 39, is back in Sweden with husband Chris O’Neill, 47, and their three children, Leonore, 7, Nicolas, 6, and Adrienne, 3. Together they already took part in a concert of the Solliden Sessions and celebrated Victoria Day on July 14, 2021, just like in the old days.

Since then, Princess Madeleine has not made any public appearances. Why? The Swedish Illu “Hänt” inquired at the court and found out that the 39-year-old family was currently taking “private holidays on Öland”. The royal family also reveals that Madeleine and Chris have “lots of fun activities with the children”.

Royal fans can look forward to a new appearance by the popular princess by August 14, 2021 at the latest: As the court confirmed a few days ago, Madeleine will also take part in the christening of her nephew, Prince Julian.

King Harald on crutches: how is his health?

On July 22, 2021, several celebrations took place in Oslo and on the island of Utøya to commemorate the people who died in the terrible terrorist attack ten years ago. The Norwegian royal family also interrupted their summer vacation on this important day and attended some of the events.

Above all, King Harald, 84, caused a stir: for several months now, the monarch has only been performing with crutches, the reason for this being a knee operation in January of this year. But after attending the memorial service in Oslo Cathedral, worries about the 84-year-old increase: What about his health?

The press chief of the royal family, Guri Varpe, answered this question for the first time in an SMS to the newspaper “Se og Hør”: “His Majesty the King is in good shape and is still in training after an operation at the beginning of this year.” A clear statement that should calm the mind for the time being.
