There have already been rumors: “Frei Schnauze” is actually making a comeback. Max Giermann will host the improv comedy.

“Free Snout” returns. The broadcaster RTL has that confirmed this Thursday (March 17). The improv comedy show will get eight new episodes, this time the host will be Max Giermann (46). The comedian, best known for ‘Switch reloaded’ and ‘LOL: Last One Laughing’, will succeed original show host Dirk Bach (1961-2012). The format ran on RTL from 2005 to 2008.

Sender remains true to the concept

According to the broadcaster, the concept remains the same: four comedians will face the challenge of mastering “ludicrous and hilarious games” per issue. They don’t know what tasks await them. Talent for improvisation and creativity are required. Giermann acts as a game master, always welcomes a changing panel and the spectators should be able to actively participate. RTL will show the new episodes in summer 2022.
