Two previous winners and a second chance for an injured person: the first stars of the “RTL diving” have been announced.
This time on January 12, 2024, the “RTL diving” will go into the third round. The broadcaster announced this a few days ago. Now the first prominent participants have been announced. The names can also be changed Visit the “My Show” website where you can buy tickets for the live event in Berlin.
With Fabian Hambüchen (36), the defending champion in individual jumping will also be competing in 2024. The 2016 Olympic gymnastics champion will meet another former artistic gymnast. Philipp Boy (36) won the individual in the first edition of “RTL Turmsprung”.
Zoe Lätizia Flindris (23), curvy model and former figure skater, also has sporting experience. Also there is professional dancer Mariia Maksina (26, “Let’s Dance”) and Jacqueline Wruck (25) and Kim Hnizdo (27), known from “Germany’s Next Top Model”. Further participants will be announced later.
Second chance for René Casselly
René Casselly (27) makes a second attempt. The circus acrobat has already won “Ninja Warrior Germany” and “Let’s Dance”, and this year he also wanted to win “Diving”. However, a training injury stopped the artist: in the event of an impact, both of his eardrums burst.
In 2023, several celebrities were injured while training. Fitness model Vanessa Mariposa (30) tore a silicone implant in her breast.
As in the last two years, the team of Jan Köppen (40), Frank Buschmann (59) and Laura Wontorra (34), known from “Ninja Warrior”, moderates the competition. In 2022, RTL secured the rights to “TV total Turmsprung”, which ran on ProSieben from 2004 to 2015. Its inventor Stefan Raab (57) is also active behind the scenes as a producer on the new edition of RTL.
