Rubis posts a decline in turnover in Q1 and confirms its objectives

May 7 (Reuters) – Rubis published a decline in first-quarter revenue on Tuesday while confirming its outlook for 2024.

The company specializing in the distribution of fuels, liquefied gases and bitumens announced a turnover of 1.66 billion euros in the first quarter, a drop of 5% compared to the first quarter of 2023, as well as a drop of its gross margin at 209 million euros.

“The Caribbean continues to show strong growth,” the group said in a press release. “The operational performance of Europe and Africa in 2023 also continues, despite some headwinds.”

“Thus the objectives communicated to the market for 2024 are reaffirmed with a Group EBITDA which should be between 725 MEUR and 775 MEUR,” he adds. (Written by Mathias de Rozario)
