Donald Trump's personal lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, has contracted the coronavirus and is said to be in hospital.

Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, 76, has reportedly been hospitalized after being diagnosed with Covid 19. The "ABC News" reports, citing anonymous sources. US President Donald Trump's (74) personal lawyer is said to have been brought to Georgetown Hospital in Washington on Sunday. When exactly Giuliani tested positive is still unclear. On Sunday he wrote on Twitter that he felt "good".

Giuliani also said in the tweet that he was "very well looked after and recovering quickly". Trump had previously spread the news that the 76-year-old was infected with the corona virus. He also wished his lawyer a speedy recovery via Twitter. The US President also had to go to hospital at the beginning of October after a Covid 19 diagnosis. Several other people in the immediate vicinity of the president had also tested positive for the corona virus.
