TOPS
Antoine Dupont : the scrum half and captain of the Blues guided his team by controlling the game magnificently. The Toulousain was rewarded with a try which destroyed the English hopes (61st). In defense, he was everywhere, making a total of 15 tackles (best total of the match).
Francois Cros : as in Cardiff a week ago, the third line was sent in defense, finishing with 14 tackles. But he stands out by scoring the Blues’ second try in force just before half-time, after good support from Romain Ntamack (40th).
Gael Fickou : the center of Racing has been in the oven and in the mill at the Stade de France. He scored the first try of the game at the end of the line and was important defensively, notably making an important contest in the second half (55th). However, he forgot Marchant on the English try and conceded a penalty.
FLOPS
The start of the second half : as against Ireland, the Blues struggled after returning to the locker room, suffering the English waves and conceding a try by Steward (49th). A line of work for the future.
George Furbank : the back had not been established since February 2020 and a match of the Tournament against… France! And the Northampton player failed again, notably missing three tackles.
Maro Itoje : the second line was considered a threat, it was not. He made rather improbable hand fouls and was not effective in defense (four missed tackles).
