Rugby World Cup 2023: Australia has chosen Saint-Galmier as its base camp


The Australian selection, which must play two matches at the Geoffroy-Guichard stadium during the first round of the 2023 Rugby World Cup, chose its base camp from among the three offered to it by the Public Interest Group of France 2023.

It will be the La Charpinière hotel in Saint-Galmier, which the general manager, Chris Webb, visited at the end of November.

As such, a three-party agreement has been signed with Saint-Étienne Métropole and the City of Andrézieux-Bouthéon where the Wallabies will train, at the Roger-Baudras stadium, and will benefit from various facilities, such as the Nautiform and its adjoining gymnasium.
