24 hours after the disillusionment of the Blues in the Rugby World Cup against the South Africans, the frustration of the fans is expressed. This is why this Monday, many tickets were resold by French supporters, who refuse to settle for other posters if the XV of France is not in the game.

After the defeat of the French XV against the Springboks this Sunday, the disappointment is beyond measure… At the final whistle, Alex, sitting in front of his television, does not waste a second. In just a few clicks, its two places for the final are already for sale. “We are French, we have a slightly chauvinistic side, we love our country and leaving Perpignan by plane, spending a weekend in Paris and not seeing our French… We are not motivated to go there and with the price of tickets, we will do something else, perhaps it will be an opportunity to see another match next time,” he resolved.

“They’re not really two teams whose play I enjoy”

Adam also sold his two places for the small final which will pit the two losers of the last four against each other, at 150 euros per ticket. It is therefore 30 euros more than the purchase price. Because for this oval ball enthusiast, the World Cup has lost all its interest. “In my opinion, it is Argentina and England who risk being eliminated, and they are not really two teams whose game and rugby I appreciate. There is a lot of disappointment… saying that opportunities like that, to be able to win a World Cup at home, won’t necessarily come around any time soon.”

Especially since for these supporters, this World Cup in France was a dream opportunity, knowing that the next one will be held 17,000 km from Paris, in Australia in 2027.
