Today, the developers announce the coming of a session of large-scale network tests with the very first cross-platform playtest from next Saturday, June 11 at 7:00 p.m. for 24 hours (until Sunday evening therefore), on all platforms where the title is expected, namely PC (via the Epic Games Store), PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. Still no news from the Nintendo Switch.

In its press release, Iron Galaxy indicates that this playtest will be an opportunity “to test the matchmaking that will allow you to swing from one platform to another. » The previous test, which was held last February, only offered to play the PC version of the title and revealed several shortcomings. At the end of these sessions, the developers announced the undated postponement of Rumbleverse which should already be available by now.

Before embarking on wild games, it should nevertheless be noted that the game is still in development and that it is above all a question of testing the robustness of servers. It will then always be able to provide more or less important bugs. The official site also announces that the application allowing access to the game will be available soon and that a Discord server opened its doors to allow the brawlers to discuss upstream.

This pre-Summer Game Fest communication also allows us to learn a little more about the upcoming schedule for the title with the announcement of a very last phase of full-scale tests in July before a final availability “later this year”.
