Rumors announced the end of Rumbleverse from the developers, and this has been confirmed. In a few days, the atypical battle royale will no longer be playable, as explained by the studio, Iron Galaxy Studios.
When do the Rumbleverse servers close?
The developers have announced Rumbleverse end of support for February 28. Players will therefore be able to enjoy the experience for one last month, before the adventure comes to an end. During this period, the battle pass will be free for all and the experience will be doubled, so that all players can unlock the maximum rewards. Naturally, the shop is no longer available, to prevent players from spending their money. Many modes will also be available during this last month.
Iron Galaxy Studios and Epic Games are deeply sorry to announce that Season 2 will be the last for Rumbleverse. This project was the result of passionate work to create an unprecedented experience in a popular and highly competitive game genre. If you took part in this adventure, we thank you, whether you arrived in the first tests after our initial announcement or the gun has just thrown you for the 1st time.
The developers will also be hosting special streams, to play with the community and share some stories about the development of Rumbleverse. Of course, the teams would like to thank the community for this short trip, which lasted only six months, but which enjoyed the support of many players. Not enough, alas, to sustain the adventure.
Refund possible
If you have spent money in Rumbleverse, especially to buy skins, know that it is possible to be reimbursed, which is quite commendable on the part of the developers, not all of whom adopt this posture. An FAQ will be available soon to know the terms and conditions, but all players will be reimbursed, if they wish.
